Dynamic Poems

Recently I've been working with creating poems in which words move. Sometimes as I work more and more text disappears and movement and font and colour become even more important.

I started off writing poems and then animating them. More and more, these poems do not have a paper version.

But I think I've always thought in movement and tried to encapsulate that in the sounds and meaning of words.

So these films are my latest works. I've called them dynamic poems.

The first to be published is this one, Reverting to Type on the Magma website as part of Magma 71: The Film Issue.
